The Bitch in Black is essentially the chronicles and musings of Alix Kat; an almost twenty-one-year-old model, blogger, artist, writer and current journalism student. This is a place where I will share my musings and
opinions on music, films, art, photography, philosophy, life, style,
fashion, beauty, politics, news and most importantly all things beautiful, inspirational and potentially vain... along with anything
else I find blog-worthy.
Since I guess this is an 'about me' page, I'll give you a bit more than the boring basics since I'm in a willing mood...
First of all my favorite color is black (I have few items in my wardrobe that aren't black) and for the most part all of my other favorite 'colors' consist of shades on the grey scale.... but I guess I also like neon/hot pink, gold and any kind of glitter.
Next I am being completely honest when I say that I don't really have a favorite genre of music, I really do enjoy it all (some more than others, of course). I do have several 'favorite' artists in different genres... although I do tend to gravitate to The Beatles, Nirvana and Metric quite frequently.
When it comes to films I basically love Psychological Thrillers or anything Sci-Fi but I do really love Clueless because it's classic and I grew up with that shit. I will also watch absolutely anything with Jack Nicholson at any time because he's the fucking man and I have a really weird thing for him.
I'm totally into conspiracy theories, aliens, paranormal and all that is unknown.
I'm afraid of clowns, porcelin dolls, birds and clusters of holes (trypophobia... google it, it's a real thing)
I also have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with celebrity culture, even though I kind of hate everything it stands for.
Oh, and I'm a bit of a walking contradiction.
Anyway, I'm not great with this 'about me' shit, so this will have to do... maybe you'll get to know more through this blog, maybe not, who knows.
As a general discretion I'd like to add that I live life day-by-day and moment-by-moment. I tend say exactly what is on my mind without a filter. I have no intentions to change my 'bitchy' ways and in fact I embrace them. With that being said there will be occasional profanity, nudity, offensive material and controversy... simply click 'x' if you have a problem with any of the above.
