I'm not even going to sugar coat it, I don't like Tyra Banks; even in that above interview she comes off really condescending and passive aggressive to me. Her show has been cancelled (finally) and I think America's Next Top Model is on it's way off the air in no time...

Holy Shit, right? I mean she is the train wreck of the century but that video really puts that shit into perspective. And I really do think she has a talent to back her up, I just think she needed a lot more time attempting to get her shit together before trying to star as someone as legendary as Elizabeth Taylor (albeit it's a lifetime movie but whatever). It's premiering sometime at the end of this month but word on the street is it's basically being taken as an unintentional comedy... so bad it's good perhaps?
Whatever, I'll probably end up having a viewing party of it and recording it on DVR to rewatch because Lindsay will always be my favorite hot mess...

I, personally, fucking love Kate Upton but I find the opinions of others varying... with a lot of men liking her and a lot of women hating her. A lot of people also don't think she's "fit for the industry" as a model especially Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, the casting director for Victoria Secret who labeled Kate as a "Page 3 Girl", stated that "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind
of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy." and said they would never use her in a Victoria Secret fashion show. She's certainly not your typical high-fashion runway model but she's got that something, not to mention she's only twenty years old and an entirely self-made model.
She made the cover of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition this year and in case you haven't become aware... she's a fucking babe.

and shit went VIRAL. She received a ton of criticism and a ton of praise... for her hot bod... and whatever, it's hot.
And so she may not be your typical high fashion runway model but she's beautiful and cool... I mean, that 'Cat Daddy' video just makes me want to be her friend and party with her. But even if you still hate her and think she doesn't belong anywhere in the modeling world like a lot of people (and brands) do - she's in it and I think she's in it big... as in, she's been the cover girl for the inaugural issue of Carine Roitfelds new magazine, CR Fashion Book. And Now, she's been featured in this months issue of VOGUE Italia shot by Steven Meisel...
I don't know what it is but I'm kind of infatuated with her and I can't describe why other than that I think she's gorgeous and someone I would probably like to meet and hang out with. You can love her or hate her, I'm not trying to convince you otherwise, all I'm saying is that she's going against the grain and succeeding in an industry that people think and say she can't.
